This illustration explores my fascination with the delicate structures of Lepidoptera. The comet moth’s long tails, patterned wings, and subtle textures offered the perfect subject to merge scientific accuracy with expressive linework. I approached this piece through close anatomical study, aiming to capture both the species’ elegance and its unique adaptations. It reflects my love for natural history and the quiet storytelling found in detailed observation.
